Technical details
System Description
"RPC Primer PU-RC (1K)" is a one-component polyurethane primer cured with moisture in the air.
Scope of application
"RPC Primer PU-RC (1K)" is used for priming substrates before applying crumb rubber coatings. Suitable for porous mineral substrates such as concrete, cement-sand screeds and non-porous substrates of various materials, including bituminous, asphalt and others.

Preparatory measures before starting work
Temperature of the primer, base surface and ambient air in the work area: from + 5 °Cto + 25 °C. Relative air humidity: not more than 80%. The surface temperature of the substrate must be at least 3 °C above the dew point determined for the given conditions, both during the application of the primer and during the entire time required for the complete cure of the primer layer.
Application method
Stir the primer with a low-speed (no more than 150 rpm) mixer (drill with mixing nozzle) for 5 minutes. The primer should be applied in a uniform, thin layer without gaps using a short nap nylon or fur roller. Airless spray equipment may be used. The primer is colored to visually show primed and non-primed areas. After applying the primer, wait 45 minutes. Then assess the quality of the surface priming by performing a visual inspection. Areas where the primer is completely absorbed should be re-primed. A well-primed substrate should have a uniform, slightly glossy surface.
Precautions and health effects
When processing, it is necessary to take into account safety measures according to TU.
Shelf life
Shelf life of the primer is 6 months without opening the drums.
